How It Works

  • Collect Samples: Collect your water samples directly into the sample collection tubes.
  • Mix & React: Add buffer and some of each sample to the prepared reaction cuvettes.
  • Develop Color: Enzyme reacts with phosphate to produce a UV-measurable color change.
  • Read Results: Measure the color with a spectrophotometer and compare to calibration standard.

Materials You Will Need

You will need a marker for labeling tubes and cuvette caps, and a spectrophotometer capable of reading at 360 nm which accepts standard square cuvettes.
