Ellen R. Campbell has spent over three decades advancing the science of safer, more accurate nitrate testing. She and her husband Bill co-founded NECi in 1993 to commercialize nitrate reductase — a breakthrough that transformed nitrate analysis for environmental, medical, food & beverage, and agricultural applications worldwide.
Ellen oversees all aspects of company strategy, business development, and financial management. She brings deep expertise in proposal preparation, marketing strategy, and tracking industry trends. Her scientific foundation includes a BS in chemistry from The New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, hands-on experience with monoclonal antibodies, and years directing both commercial and academic biochemistry labs.
Today, Ellen continues to lead NECi's mission to make nitrate testing reliable, accessible, and environmentally responsible for laboratories and field teams around the world.
