The Enzyme - Nitrate Reductase:
NADH: Nitrate Reductase (NaR1) from corn leaves is purified by monoclonal antibody-based immunoaffinity chromatography [1]. Corn NaR has a high specific activity  of 40 to 60 units/mg NaR. The NaR activity unit = µmol/min.  This enzyme form is now available only in limited quantities for researchers and others that require plant NaR and can not use recombinant Superior Stock NaR (YNaR1 or AtNaR2) for their work.
